Montech was founded in 1993 by PGA Lifetime Professional, Ed Montgomery. After decades in the golf industry as a tour player and club professional, Mr. Montgomery recognized the need for a true game improvement golf club precisely fit and built to the individual player's needs. In short, he wanted to help golfers play better by providing them with top quality equipment that up until then had not been available to the average golfer. In the fourteen years we have been in business, Montech has established a reputation of unequaled quality, honesty, and customer service. We are proud of the fact we have met our goal of providing a true game improvement alternative, as our average customer has seen his or her handicap drop by between 20% and 50%.

To date, Montech has operated mainly in the greater Palm Springs area. We are not a large company, and it surprises many to learn that we don't necessarily want to be a large company. In order to serve our customers to the best of our ability, we need to spend a significant amount of time with each and every one. It also takes time to ensure that each set of clubs is precision crafted to the exact requirements of a fitting. Montech will only grow in such a way that allows us to maintain our exacting standards while helping a greater number of golfers to improve their golf games. We don't want to be the biggest golf company, we want to be the best. In doing so, we can hopefully have a positive impact on the game along the way and leave a lasting impression on the future of golf.
